Sleeping Beauty Castle

Sleeping Beauty Castle
This was the first of the Robert Olszewski Main
Street, USA Collection. This piece sells for
$225.00, and is by far the favorite by
individuals only collecting one piece. The paint
colors are of the original soft pastel pinks and
blues. The colors have recently been changed
to a much brighter pink and blue with glitter
added to the walls. The Castle also has had gold
crowns placed on the tops of the towers , for the
50th happiest homecoming.
The attention to detail was incredible to say the
least starting with the color choice of the LEDs
which cast beautiful shadows , to the small wake
in front of the swans swimming in the mote.
Looking further in you notices the way the
green vines climb the walls and the Disney
family crest above the arch way as you pass
over the bridge. Every time you look at the
Castle you seem to notice more and more. If
you see a small gold dot on the back side of the
Castle just between the columns, it's there for a
reason. That was the original center of the
Disneyland Park
Robert also included the Time Capsule in front
of the compass and two scenes from the
Sleeping Beauty movie on the walls as you pass
through the Castle. Another nice touch was the
removable roof of one of the towers, displaying
Princess Aurora being kissed by Prince Phillip.
The last special detail was a "Hidden Mickey".
A "hidden Mickey" is a Mickey shaped object
hidden throughout Disneyland.
