Peter Pan's Flight is a suspended dark ride at Disneyland that lets you fly to Neverland. Located in Fantasyland, it is a 1955 original and remains one of the parks more popular attractions. With the 1982 re-model of Fantasyland the attraction's facade got a face lift. However, the attraction still featured the original colorful mural, depicting the characters from the film.
The original attraction had the guests fly through the ride as if they were Peter Pan. The audience did not quite grasp this concept and were left wondering, "Why wasn't Peter Pan in the Peter Pan ride?" In 1983, an Audio-Animatronic Peter Pan was added to the ride.
Bringing Neverland home was made possible on December 8, 2007 with the release of this incredible miniature. The miniature captures the magic of this attraction with it's colorful mural in the entrance and two interchangeable scenes. With the inserts removed you can see the hungry crocodile. This miniature is a incredible addition to this collection and we can only hope for more Fantasyland attractions to come.
